The Huffington Post did a little feature thingy on me! Check it out here.

I was pretty excited when the reporter, Damiano Beltrami, contacted me about being featured in an article. About six months ago (give or take a few), I got a phone call from him, asking if I would like to be interviewed for a feature that follows the journey of New Yorkers who were laid off during the economic downturn. Having lost my job at a financial newsletter in 2008, I was the perfect candidate. Funnily, my story wasn’t quite the sob story that many other New Yorkers were living. When I was laid off, it opened up my world and reminded me why I moved to New York in the first place.
Of course, I did get into another full-time job, and spent two lovely years working for ACE. And two months ago I was blessed to be offered an acting job at The Ride. Things seem to be working out for me right now, and I was pleased to be able to share hopeful story with the Huffington Post! Also the quality of my voice in the video made me less than happy, I feel very lucky to have been featured in this way. Thanks so much to everyone who has helped me get this far – and hopefully this is only the first of the rungs on the tall ladder to the top!
The most important part- enjoy every climb up every single rung . . . the journey is your life- you rock
