And I haven’t yet gone to bed, so I’m counting this one towards today.

First of all. This building is starting to piss me off. It’s not enough that I share a wall with a “musician” so bad that it’s pitiful… the roof alarm has been going off for the last hour and people above are having a party. Yeah, okay, I know. It’s not really that bad. Earplugs are my best friend these days.

So! Today I made my first official “membership sale” at the new job – so stoked! Not to sound like a bragger, but I really feel I have the right set of skills to excel in this temporary job situation. “Temporary?” you ask. Yes, until I land a spot on SNL, 30 Rock, or The Office. Which makes me think… maybe I should be performing more sketch around the city. I’m on it! Jenna and I have decided to push ourselves to write one sketch/week – which works out nicely as we can just devote one lunch hour of the week to reading and editing our work. This first week was a lot of fun. I think we’re both looking forward to actually filming and performing some of these ideas in the near future. Yay creativity!

Jenna’s storytelling show tonight was awesome – props to you, lady! I felt pretty worn out from the week after the show, so I headed home. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a loving (but stinky) cat. In Sex and the City, Carrie Bradshaw details some of the common “Strange Single Behavior” that New York City women may hide. My SSB? Full disclosure: getting home at 12:30am and deciding that now is a really good time to wash my cat. I realize the obvious potential for name-calling or teasing this may provoke, but I’m just glad my little buddy is nice and clean.
