Work was excruciating today… I am trying to make up for my ridiculously short week post-concussion and crammed about two days of work into eight hours of intense working from my chair.
So, today I leave you with a PETA ad banned from this weekend’s superbowl. Your thoughts?

‘Veggie Love’: PETA’s Banned Super Bowl Ad
I don’t get the banning (probably some prude that can’t see past the word sex). The market is simultaneously perfect (men drinking beer love to look at sexy women) and off the mark (men drinking beer and eating tons of animal products will not “get” the vegan theme). They’d still love the naughty women and it would probably be a quick recall on Feb 2! I’m surprised the vegan crowd would waste their precious dollars in that market!
Love it!If I could look like that, I’d certainly go vegan.xoxoMom
I can honestly say, I don’t understand it. Oma
Clearly, it is a ploy. They knew it would never be approved by NBC and it’s akin to the Paris Hilton style of publicity. Substitute the veggies for meat products and you’d have the same result, only MORE outrage from the PETA folks. There’s plenty of hot, sexy women who do eat meat regularly.I just think PETA knows that they are a joke in mainstream America and they are willing to try anything to get attention. I don’t think it’s working for them. They need to stick to the moral high ground if they want to really affect change. Personally, I think that humans evolved as omnivores and I LIKE the taste of well-prepared meats. Others can prefer whatever they like, and I WILL support that right to choose, without any judgements.
