So this is not exactly a full-fledged update, but I thought you might like to know that it is currently 13 degrees outside. I woke up early this morning to go buy some groceries (finally!) and start work at 8:00 AM, and how lovely was it to walk through that bitter cold to the Key Food. Lucky for me, the store is only a block away, so it wasn’t completely unbearable. Remember as a kid, when you would go outside in the cold to your friends and say, “Can you see my breath? Can you see my breath?!” (Side-note: I still do that.) Well, this morning, my mental commentary was more like: “OH MY GOD… All I can see is my breath.” Stay warm NYC!

It has started to rain here. I am home alone with Hannah and Drew. We are all going out for dinner tonight. We played a new version of UNO, took us a couple of hours to complete. We had fun though. Stay warm, much love, Oma
